God’s sovereignty turns our human perspectives upside-down as we see that it is God who is free to do as he pleases, not mere humans. All the while, God’s sovereignty is a source of joy for Christians when they reflect upon the sovereignty of God displayed in the mercy of Jesus on the cross.
